Japan was the first country I travelled to in Asia in the year 2000, I fell in love with that continent back then and have loved it every since. It is one of the few places on earth where you can travel to large cities and feel completely safe. The crime rate is very low compared to major U.S. cities and they keep them very clean. The subway stations in Tokyo are spotless, if I were homeless there, that would be my living room! It is illegal to litter or spit out chewing gum in Kuala Lumpur and as a result, their city is clean, orderly, and safe. Don't get me wrong, I love the U.S. but if I ever had to leave, it would be some warm place in Asia for me. Yes the language is pretty tough to learn, it's not cheap (except in the developing countries), and they don't always have the freedoms we do (In Thailand you can't speak bad about the King) but like anyplace you go, there is always a price to pay. I have been in country about eight times and travelled through several more since Tokyo is a major connecting point to the rest of Asia. Browse my pictures and videos and be sure to check our You Tube page, Nsane Travel for more videos.
