Kuala Lumpur was one of those places I had heard of but didn't know too much about, I had to do some considerable research on the internet before I decided that this was a destination I wanted to visit. Lucky for me there are some really cheap flights to K.L. on Air Asia.com. That is my airline of choice when I am in Asia, they are in my opinion the best budget airline in Asia and I have made reservations online with them several times to get around. My ticket from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur on Air Asia.com was about $37.00, cheaper than the cab fare from the airport to the hotel once I got there (and shorter in travel time). That picture you see of me on the Home page was taken at the Royal Palace in Kuala Lumpur. Of course the must see in K.L. are the twin towers aka The Petronas Twin Towers located downtown, you can't miss them. They are now the tallest twin towers in the world and the tour to go in them sells out really quick for days so if you are there for a limited time, go get tickets for that attraction first. The views are of course awesome and you get to check out the bridge walkway connecting the towers and then go up to the top. I did it during the day but hope to do it at night the next time.  Also be sure to check out the Bukit Bintang area, great clubs and fabulous shopping malls around there, and if you are looking for a Hooker, check out a club called The Boat, it is full of them and has cool live bands. The Batu Caves were cool, but be prepared for some serious walking and step climbing. Check out my pics in the slide show and the videos below and let us know what you think.
